Join us every Thursday in November for a FREE unique live music experience at the North American Sake Brewery. First up on 11/1 is Emily Julia Kresky. Emily is is a multifaceted songwriter, singer, guitarist and performer from Charlottesville, Virginia who blends styles of blues, rhythm, and American roots. She performs both as a solo act and with a backing band. Emily’s music is rooted in a deep pool of inspiration, drawing from various genres, decades and playing styles such as rockabilly, Gypsy Jazz and blues-shuffle to create her authentic and recognizable sound. Said to have a retro vibe, her songs embody a whimsical storyteller quality and are rich with luscious layers of bluesy/soulful vocals, catchy melodies and poetic lyrics.
